The HMD 46 series is a very lightweight and comfortable open boomset for controller. It is ideal for air traffic control. The headset is equipped with ActiveGard TM (not including HMD 46-31), which protects controllers from the effects of an acoustic burst.

- Superb wearing comfort due to patended two-piece automatic headband and soft ear pads
- Flip-away headphone allows single-sided listening
- Flexible microphone boom, can be worn on either left or right-hand side
- Noise-compensated dynamic microphone ensures excellent speech transmission
- Single-sided cable, length 1.85 m, easy to exchange
- Also available with PTT
- ActiveGard safeguards the user from the effects of an acoustic burst
