For it can't get any longer, faster and more flexible. The SC-Quantum QMC HIGHFLEX is precisely the cable that all “bending radius fetishists“ such as event technicians, musicians and dedicated live sound reinforcement providers have always been dreaming of! The SC-Quantum QMC HIGHFLEX is absolutely torsion-free, i.e. it can be easily wound up in a figure-8 shape and will not twist when winding or unwinding it. Not only does the S-PVC jacket, which is cold-resistant to –30 °C and notch-proof, feel soft to the touch; due to the super fine Cu single wires from 0,07 mm (!) and the PE-insulated wires, even the inner structure is wonderfully supple and unbreakable. From the 8-pair version upward we have integrated an additional yellow/green ground wire, which gives extra stability and safety (PE = protective earth). The electrical and mechanical specs are also highly presentable: each wire pair is also equipped with an insulating tube, numbered and shielded by a Cu braid with 99 % coverage. Just think about that for a moment: the SC-Quantum QMC HIGHFLEX shines with a low 45 pF wire/wire capacitance and is even 110 Ω (AES/EBU) compliant over hundreds of meters! The wire pair diameter is perfectly suitable for direct assembly (e.g. of an XLR connector). The inner structure is protected against adverse influences by a highly flexible PVC jacket with almost 2 mm (0.08 in.) of wall thickness. There has never been a cable with such electrical and mechanical values at such a low price!
