The New Avid NEXIS Integrated Storage Family

The Avid NEXIS F-series storage engines are an evolution of the E-series, offering enhanced performance, connectivity options, and compatibility. While the E-series has been in use for six years and continues to serve thousands of media producers, the F-series introduces new processor architecture and network interfaces to support real-time media delivery in demanding production environments.

Existing E-series engines can coexist with F-series engines and be combined into an extended virtual pool of storage. If you own an Avid NEXIS | PRO, it is compatible with the new Avid NEXIS | PRO+, allowing you to combine up to four systems for increased storage and bandwidth.
