About DigiNet
Our Mission
DigiNet was founded by Michel Croonen in 1996 in Vilvoorde with 7 employees. In 2012 we started with an office in the Netherlands. The Dutch branch was further expanded through cooperation and integration of DBSE in April 2018. On 1 October 2018, the next step was taken in our growth trajectory, through a partnership with 4E Invite. This collaboration allows us to grow our team and to enter the market in a more efficient way. Thanks to the cooperation with 4E, we now have a team of 25 people.
 
Our mission is to sell and offer solutions within and every aspect of the audiovisual sector. We mainly work in a B2B environment. We define two activities that are translated into two divisions: ProAV and Broadcast.
 
Within the DigiNet ProAV team we act as a distributor for manufacturers that provide passive components: cabling, connectors and connectivity. We offer customers fast answers and fast delivery, thanks to our own local stock and competitive prices, coupled with excellent technical knowledge about the niche products and manufacturers we represent. We can also deliver custom work thanks to cooperation with https://shop.livepower.be.
 
The DigiNet Broadcast team acts as an integrator and reseller for active components. Active components imply products and solutions that require intensive requirements and follow-up throughout the entire sales process, and the delivery of the proposed solution. This activity requires a thorough technical knowledge of our commercial staff, in combination with project management and a strong after sales organization. The after sales is mainly based on the execution of Service Level Agreements (SLA) with end users, for which we offer flexible options, adapted to the needs of the customer.
 
The DigiNet broadcast team is subdivided into 5 teams, which focus on specific technology specializations. These teams are:

  • File & Workflow: all products that are software based (editing, transcoding, storage, media management, quality control, channel in a box playout, newsroom automation)
  • Live & Production: all products that handle live video (SDI) (glue, video mixers, routers, CG, subtitling, monitors, cameras: ENG, PTZ, Studio)
  • Transmission & Delivery: all products required for video transmission via satellite, antenna or IP.
  • System Integration: System design and physical installation of audio visual environments, going from studios, engine rooms, data centers, ....
  • Labo (Repair / RMA): this team is responsible for after sales service such as repair of equipment, RMA handling, ...
Since the beginning of DigiNet to this day, management has a strong belief that we are dependent on the technical knowledge of our team, which is why we have invested and continue to invest in people and their competences.
